Center for Programs and Networks of Pastoral Action

The Center for Programs and Networks of Pastoral Action takes on the services that were previously developed by six of the Departments of CELAM. In this sense, the former Department of Justice and Solidarity is now part of the area of Human Development and Integral Ecology, while the Departments related to ministry, missionary discipleship, and other specific pastoral areas are integrated into the area of Synodal Church in Mission.

Structure

The Center for Programs and Networks of Pastoral Action has defined two priority lines to serve and accompany the mission of CELAM as a whole, the episcopal conferences, and the Church on the continent: integral human development and integral ecology; and the synodal and outgoing Church. This Pastoral Center will work very closely and coordinately with the Dicasteries of the Holy See, SELACC, and CLAR.
