The Theological Pastoral Reflection Team provides a specific service through listening to the Word of God in the tradition of the People of God; the sapiential, scientific, and prophetic intelligence of faith; the evangelical discernment of the signs of the times; and dialogue with society and cultures from the joy of the Gospel.

This team includes theologians from Latin America and the Caribbean representing different disciplines, institutions, and generations, to encourage a synodal exercise of theological work. Synodality promotes doing theology in a circular and embodied way, that is, fostering the ability to listen, dialogue, discern, and integrate the variety of voices in the choir of the Latin American theological community.
